In what’s become the industry norm, the only two card providers allowed on Galaxy are VISA and Mastercard. We would love to see more options such as American Express or Chase, but this issue isn’t only unique to Galaxy. 

New players at Galaxy are eligible for up to $1,600 in free play to be used at both the sportsbook and casino — no need to choose one or the other. First-time deposits are matched at 15 percent in the sportsbook (max bonus being $600) and 50 percent at the casino (payout capped at $1000). The 2-for-1 bonus structure is unique since most competitors have separate deals for its sport and casino companion.

All odds are listed together, but the Wi-Fi icon is the separator between the two. The demand for in-play betting continues to climb and we were impressed with Galaxy’s offering in this department.  

Remember earlier when we explained how to place a straight bet? You’re going to follow the same exact formula for parlays — but of course, you’ll add multiple odds to your betting ticket instead of just one. 

Galaxy gives you the opportunity to split up wagered money on your parlay. For example, on a two-leg parlay, you could conceivably bet $15 on one leg, then $5 on the second. That’s a welcome change than the usual one-risk-fits-all style of parlay betting.  

The withdrawal methods at Galaxy are mostly the same as its deposit options with two notable caveats. For one, VISA and Mastercard can not be used for cashing out, only for funding your account. And second, Galaxy adds support for mailed check when withdrawing.

Everything we previously said about using a crypto to deposit on Galaxy also applies to withdrawing. Again, the amount of cryptos supported is among the best the industry has to offer. 

Galaxy has a help center to break down its guidelines, but bettors looking for wagering advice will have to look for it elsewhere. There’s currently no blog maintained by Galaxy.  

Upon signing up to Galaxy, you’re immediately enrolled in its BetPoints rewards program. It’s a three-level system in which players can rank up through gold, platinum, and diamond tiers. As you’d expect, each tier has its own unique perks pertaining to cashback, reload bonuses, plus more. Points are earned on a 12-month basis and different types of wagers can net you more points (e.g. parlays are worth substantially more than a straight bet).  

The amount of email communication from Galaxy was few and far between — certainly more infrequent than many competitors. For some players, that’s a positive, but for others, that might be a negative. 

Thus far, the only wagers that have live streaming capability on Galaxy are eSports and virtual sports. You’ll see a green tab titled “video” next to the odds to indicate streaming is available for it. Hit “view” under the “more” column to bring up the stream, which most of the time comes Twitch. 

To come full circle, Galaxy does a lot of things good, but not necessarily great. Still, bettors far and wide won’t be disappointed with what the site has to offer:

• The full gamut of sports betting options
• A slew of bonuses and/or loyalty program perks
• Serious commitment to cryptocurrency as a deposit and withdrawal method
