This lightweight champ hopeful holds multiple Ultimate Fighting Championship records. The most impressive is having the most submission wins (14) in the history of the organization. He is also tied for most finishes, at 16.
Oliveira is currently number 3 in the UFC Lightweight rankings. It is no surprise that he is so well-ranked. As a MMA fighter trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, his submission game is perhaps the best in the history of the UFC.
As the slight favorite of the night, you will make almost as much as you bet, depending on the UFC sportsbook that you’re using.
The other contender for the open Lightweight title is Michael Chandler. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, this MMA fighter brings everything he has to the octagon. He spent ten years in Bellator MMA, and has recently switched to UFC.
Although considered the underdog in this title fight, do not count him out yet. While his opponent is ranked third, Chandler comes in right behind at fourth in the UFC lightweight rankings.
