Below you’ll find a list of favorites to win the NFL Super Bowl 59.

San Francisco 49ers – (+600)

The 49ers had their own struggles at times in the last campaign, with a three-game losing streak midway through the season that helped them to a bog-standard 12-5 regular season record.

However, they rallied and made it all the way to the Super Bowl where they led and then threw away the title with some poor decision-making in the fourth quarter and during overtime.

Despite who they have played, the playoffs have been a surprisingly rough journey for this team. If you were told the 49ers would face the Packers and then the Lions, most people would have predicted back-to-back blowouts by the West Coast team.

That wasn’t what happened, as the 49ers have been in two brutal fights for their playoff lives in those games, and truth be told, they needed some luck to come out of both unscathed.

In the process, though, Brock Purdy showed he’s the guy to take them wherever they need to go so they will be back and the fact no team has ever won the Super Bowl three times in a row, they seem best placed to be victorious in 2024/25.

Kansas City Chiefs – (+600)

The Chiefs just won Super Bowl 58 and have effectively established the new dynasty in town. Mahomes has three rings in the last five seasons, Andy Reid is sticking around for a little while, and the core of the team seems to be intact. All of that came despite the fact they had their worst regular season record since 2017.

Now, three-peating is going to be even harder than going back-to-back was, but the Chiefs definitely have that “We can beat anyone” mentality, so we can’t count them out at all, especially in a tough AFC.

Look for the team to try to upgrade again at the wide receiver position and the offensive line, as those were the two main weak spots on this squad this season. History will no doubt be a driving force for the team, and Mahomes has got time on his side too in terms of where he is in his career, so +600 for them to do it again looks solid.

Baltimore Ravens – (+920)

It’s hard to grade the Ravens’ 2023-24 season as a failure because they were the top overall seed in a tough AFC, and Lamar Jackson won the MVP near-unanimously. At the same time, though, they struggled against the Chiefs in a playoff game that most expected them to win as their offense failed to deliver.

Todd Monken returns for Year Two of this new energized passing offense, which had some solid moments this season. Plenty of role contributors stepped up for All-Pro TE Mark Andrews when he went down with a knee injury in Week 12, and we are likely to see more additions to the roster to give them a better chance of success.

The defense will still be one of the best units in the NFL next season despite DC Mike McDonald leaving for the Seattle Seahawks, and I think the team as a whole will be out to prove they’re real contenders.

At +920 and with the roster they have, they’re a fantastic bet to claim their first Super Bowl championship since 2013.

Cincinnati Bengals – (+1400)

The Bengals entered last season as one of the AFC favorites but suffered a devastating blow with a midseason injury to Joe Burrow, which all but ended their Super Bowl hopes.

However, the club managed to stay competitive and remained in the post-season chase, ultimately coming up just short while finishing with a record of 9-8. Burrow is expected to be fully recovered from wrist surgery by the time the season begins, which gives the Bengals a good chance.

They’ve been considered among the top contenders for a while now, and although it would take some odd things to happen for it to come true in 2024/25 there is great value in backing them to do it.
