Below you’ll find a list of the favorites to win the MVP Award after the NFL Super Bowl LIX.
Mahomes is a three-time former Super Bowl MVP, and is currently en route to compete with Tom Brady as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the sport.
Despite the Kansas City Chiefs going 15-2 in the regular season, Mahomes wasn’t really in contention for the regular season award with his own campaign relatively modest by his own standards.
But despite that he was the man who led the team to success in the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills and should they win a third consecutive Super Bowl title he will undoubtedly be the face of that historic achievement for years to come.
The winning quarterback has won seven of the last ten Super Bowl MVP awards and if the Chiefs are successful it seems improbable that anyone but Mahomes gets the nod, especially considering he won it the last two years when there were clear contenders ahead of him.
At +100 there is terrific value in him getting his own personal three-peat if Kansas get the win, so this should be the pick.

Barkley’s first season with the Eagles saw him finish as the NFL Offensive Player of the Year odds-on favorite. After scoring two touchdowns in the divisional round, he ran for another three in the NFC Championship game, including a 60-yard score for the game’s first touchdown.
His 118 yards on the ground in the NFC Championship marked his fifth straight game with over 100 rushing yards, and continued his incredible postseason form heading into the Super Bowl game.
While quarterbacks are usually the winners in the Super Bowl MVP race, if Philadelphia are to be successful then there is no doubt that Barkley will have a huge say in the outcome and it’s not really a surprise he has the shortest odds in his team. +275 is decent value, so if you like the Eagles to ruin the Chiefs’ party then this is a good shout.
Hurts recovered from the heartbreak of a Super Bowl defeat in 2023 and a poor campaign the following year to bounce back and lead this team, but it didn’t come without an injury scare early on in the playoff rounds.
While Barkley is the main man in this Philadelphia offense, anything he does requires Hurts to perform to a high level too and he is more than capable of helping the team by going alternative routes and delivering in big moments.
Hurts has come under fire for some unimpressive passing numbers of late, but he took apart the Washington Commanders for 246 yards and scored four total touchdowns in the NFC Championship game. With history on his side in terms of being a quarterback too, +375 is tremendous value.

The incredible rookie season of Xavier Worthy has seen his role in the offense increase big time recently seeing 6, 7, 6, 11, 11, 9 and 6 targets in his last seven games to go with 11 carries in that timeframe.
Against a solid Eagles defense, getting him the ball in a variety of ways could be the path to points and victory. That obviously relies quite heavily on Mahomes doing his job well, which will only boost his own chances of winning the award.
But if voters are tired of seeing Mahomes get all the credit for the Chiefs’ success, then Worthy could well become the first rookie to ever win the Super Bowl MVP award and at +3300 the value is too good to ignore.
A defensive player hasn’t won this award since Von Miller back in 2016. He did that by scoring two sacks during the game and if Carter is able to do something even remotely similar to that he will be a huge reason for Philadelphia getting success.
Mahomes will need to be hit hard and often if the Eagles have any chance to win the Super Bowl. Carter could put his stamp on this game if he can get to the quarterback and at +6500 that’s enough of a reason to have a little flutter.
