Below you’ll find a list of the favorites to win the Miss Universe 2023 contest.
Karla Guilfú Acevedo was crowned Miss Puerto Rico back in August of this year and in the process gaining herself national recognition after finishing as a runner-up at Miss Supranational 2021, where her accolades at Miss Supranational 2021 included being named Miss Elegance.
Born in Isla Culebra, Puerto Rico, Guilfú Acevedo is currently pursuing a master’s degree in counseling psychology, and the stunning model has used her platform to advocate for social justice initiatives and mental health education.
Last month, alongside the Ana. G Mendez University, Guilfú Acevedo became a spokesperson of a public service campaign to promote mental health for young people and through educational campaigns, Guilfú Acevedo will be available for discussions with students online.
Her resume with her commitment to mental health awareness should gain points from the judges and along with her continued improvement in public speaking and interviews, expect Guilfú Acevedo to do well at Miss Universe 2023.
Puerto Rico has the third-most titles in the pageant’s history with five and the Puerto Rican entrant will no doubt be giving her all to make it six.

Thailand’s Anntonia Porsild is a serious contender to take the Miss Universe 2023 crown and is the co-favorite with Puerto Rico’s Guilfú Acevedo among others.
The 27-year-old isn’t a stranger to the pageant circuit. In 2019, Porsild won her first major competition at Miss Supranational. The Indian-born, Danish-Thai Porsild is the first Thai woman to win a Miss Supranational competition.
She has been well-received by judges and the public, with her resume including a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the International University in Bangkok.
If Porsild wins Miss Universe, she will become the first woman to win two Big 6 International beauty pageants, and immediately makes her deserving of being one of the Miss Universe favorites.
Miss Thailand should easily be a placement candidate and then get into the Top 5 in El Salvador, and from there she simply can’t be ruled out of making history as the winner.
Angelina Usanova, the current Miss Ukraine, has been actively involved in supporting her country during the war.
She has helped find homes for Ukrainian refugees in Europe, provided yoga and meditation to uplift victims, and donated and fundraised to purchase cars for the Rapid Evacuation project. All of that will undoubtedly go a long way with the judges.
Dubbed “Mother Protector,” it represents the need to respect international law, such as the Charter of the United Nations, and protect innocent children during times of war.
Angelina also uses her passion for music to demonstrate her devotion to Ukraine’s eventual liberation, recently performing at a charity concert in Switzerland to raise funds. Between her humanitarian efforts and huge pageant platform, Angelina is determined to make a difference for her war-torn nation.
At +1000 with all the attention on her nation, don’t be shocked if she becomes the first Ukrainian woman to ever win the event.
Considering the favorite to win Miss Universe is +1000, there’s no need to limit yourself to just one pick and that makes Michelle Dee of the Philippines a fantastic pick to get the win.
Dee has a lengthy resume that includes acting, modeling, TV personality, and talk show host and the 28-year-old Filipina beauty pageant veteran has already won high-profile shows.
Her accomplishments include winning Miss World Philippines 2019 and Miss Universe Philippines 2022. Most recently, Dee earned the biggest victory of her career as she was crowned Miss Philippines 2023.
The hallmark of Dee’s public service is working with kids that have developmental disabilities and are special needs. Additionally, she has been a loyal advocate for autism awareness and research which will no doubt score her points with the judges.
In the Philippines, Dee is an active member of the Autism Society Philippines and the Center for Possibilities Incorporation. In addition to her philanthropy and advocacy work, Dee is well-respected in the beauty pageant domain by her peers.
+1400 provides fantastic value for an extra bet, and she’s very much in with a chance of the victory.
