Kansas City Chiefs – (+500)

Patrick Mahomes hasn’t had the stellar campaign that people have come to expect of him so far, but they’re still 7-2 after nine games and have beaten some top competition along the way.

A defeat in the opening game was a shock and him being ill in the build-up didn’t help them as they suffered a bizarre loss to Denver, but outside of that they have been as reliable as ever.

He remains the best playmaker in the league with rookie WR Rashee Rice emerging as one of the most reliable receiving weapons, they’re only going to get stronger down the stretch.

This team has been there and done it before, reaching three of the last four Super Bowls and winning two of them. They tend to save their best performances for the post-season, and at +500 they’re still fairly decent value considering you know their best is yet to come.

Philadelphia Eagles – (+550)

Heading into Week 10, the Philadelphia Eagles lead the league with a 8-1 record, having secured their first statement win of the 2023 season with a win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 7.

Though they sit in a competitive NFC East alongside the Dallas Cowboys, QB Jalen Hurts continues to ball out with a talented group of receivers in WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith and TE Dallas Goedert

The defense is just as strong, too, particularly up front on the defensive line, with their biggest weakness to date having been the health of the secondary.

They were arguably the best team in the NFL last season but fell at the final hurdle, and the Eagles have a massively strong core of players.

Despite taking their first loss of the season to a Jets team without Aaron Rodgers, I still think the Eagles are the class of the conference, alongside the 49ers. There’s good value on them going that one step further this time around.

San Francisco 49ers – (+600)

While there have been a couple of stumbling blocks, the 49ers have the best combination of defense and offensive upside in the league.

Even with them losing to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7 and the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8, the 49ers still have a very strong team.

The San Francisco 49ers looked unbeatable to start the season, getting off to a 5-0 start, but unfortunately backslid significantly since then, now on a three-game losing streak.

The Week 9 bye will surely allow them to recharge and reset to bounce back, but QB Brock Purdy will need to clean things up, having thrown five interceptions over their last three games after going their first five games without a single pick.

After some lapses on the defense, as well, the Niners made a move at the trade deadline to acquire DE Chase Young, who will now play along with Nick Bosa and Haason Reddick to form one of the most terrifying defensive fronts in the league.

With that said, they’ve shown great weakness and the odds don’t reflect that so it may be better to wait it out to see if they drift more before backing them.

Baltimore Ravens – (+900)

Before the offseason got underway, there was a lot of pause as to whether the Ravens could truly be a Super Bowl contender this upcoming season.

Would they re-sign Lamar Jackson? Could they surround him with enough playmakers to make this passing offense that hadn’t scared anyone a threat?

The answer to all of these questions turned out to be “yes,” as the max contract deal was handed down to Jackson, they drafted a new playmaker in Zay Flowers, signed Odell Beckham Jr., and brought in former Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken to revolutionize this passing offense.

Given the answers that we have now, the Ravens winning the Super Bowl, even in a crowded AFC, is plausible to consider. The Ravens defense has played well despite injury issues early in the season, and the offense appears to have turned a corner.

With a 7-2 record they’re proving they can win games and with a fairly advantageous schedule they should be excited about their chances. At such good value, they’re definitely worth a sprinkle.
