The team’s 14 points on the year puts them one point behind the conference-leading Columbus Crew, who have played seven games to Miami’s six. Chicago sits in seventh place in MLS’s Eastern Conference with three wins, two draws and, two losses.
Inter Miami and the Chicago Fire have met eight times in MLS action. Chicago has four wins, Miami three victories, and the teams have played to a draw once. The clubs have combined for 28 goals with 15 of those going to Chicago. Miami has won the two most recent matchups between these clubs. The most recent game was a 4-1 Miami victory in August 2024 in Chicago.
