The 2020 Formula 1 season is upon us with the first race scheduled in Australia on March 15th and it concluding on November 29th in Abu Dhabi. Lewis Hamilton is the overwhelming favorite to win his seventh drivers championship, which would tie him with Michael Schumaker on seven titles.
Everything points to Lewis Hamiton being the man who will win the F1 Championship in 2020. Bovada price a Lewis championship victory at -185 with his nearest rival, Max Verstappen, coming in at +515.
Hamilton looked unstoppable on his way to the 2019 Formula 1 Drivers Championship, his sixth title. The popular British superstar won 11 of the scheduled races and finished on the podium in six other races.
Preseason is completed and, to be honest, the Mercedes team looks unbeatable. The car looks reliable, ultra-fast and stable. Add to this fact that Hamilton is the best driver on his generation, perhaps one of the best of all time, and you have the recipe for another Hamilton victory.
Should Hamilton win the drivers championship, it would be his seventh such title. He would be tied on seven championships with the legendary Michael Schumaker. Do not bet against this happening, Hamilton is most certainly out choice in the betting.
F1 pick 2020? Who will win the F1 Championship? Lewis Hamiton to win the 2020 F1 Driver Championship at -185.
While we firmly believe Hamilton will win the drivers championship, there 2020 season should be nothing short of epic. Lets have a look at these others Formula 1 betting predictions for the 2020 season.
All the constructors have made huge improvements to their cars and Hamilton will have to be at the top of his game if he wants a repeat of last seasons success.
Bovada has created a betting market for who will win the F1 Championship without Hamilton, which has some superb value in it.
Max Verstappen is the shortest price here at +175. Verstappens Red Bull car looks fast and he is a legitimate threat to Hamiltons crown. We, however, like the look of Charles Leclerc at +225.
The 22-year-old finished fourth last year, his first season with Ferrari. If Ferrari can improve its reliability and stop the in-house fighting between Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel, Leclerc could be the man to bet on in this market.
Of course, Hamiltons team-mate Valtteri Bottas (+200) only finished 87 points behind Hamilton last season, winning four races and reaching the podium in 11 other races so hes a good bet too.
Well toss a coin between Bottas and Leclerc to make our decision between the two!
A Hamilton victory in the drivers championship is short at -185 while a Mercedes win in the constructors championship is even shorter at -500. A $50 bet on a Hamilton bet pays out $27.03 with a $50 bet on a Mercedes victory paying out $10. This means for $100 youd win $37.03. Combine them in a parlay and that $100 bet becomes $84.86 and that looks like a terrific bet to make in our eyes.
We predicted the same parlay bet for the 2019 season and it came in. Theres no need to think it wont happen in the 2020 season.
