As the NFL schedule gets closer to the postseason, a variety of contenders have emerged in the NFC and AFC who could make a run and emerge as the conference title winners in the NFL per BetNow. Noted on its website, a handful of squads have emerged in the AFC as legitimate conference championship contenders as of this article’s writing. This includes familiar favorites like the Chiefs (+130), Bills (+190), and also the Baltimore Ravens (+250) making a tough trio at the top of the AFC pile. Meanwhile, in the NFC, there is a similar story here, albeit with one team a little out in front of the pack, that being the Detroit Lions at +120. Following Dan Campbell’s squad are an array of other capable teams like the Eagles (+250), Vikings (+450), and also the Green Bay Packers (+550).

In this report, SBS will be going over what to look for from the latest gaming news coming from the world of BetNow and also some other notes available to you at SBS.

Strong trio at the top of the AFC playoff picture

Noted on the main BetNow site, some familiar squads dot the top of the AFC standings and have a healthy shot at taking home the AFC crown and heading to the Super Bowl. With a nearly perfect record, Kansas City has once again put together a masterful season of winning football under head coach Andy Reid. While the Chiefs have not always looked extremely dominant this season, they have definitely found ways, more than any other squad, to win football games this season. Of course, when you have Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, anything is possible and Kansas City is a very dangerous squad again this season to make a run.

The other two squads on this list, Baltimore and Buffalo, also have some sensational talent, with both teams being spearheaded by MVP-caliber quarterbacks. However, the main circumstance working against them is a brutal gauntlet of teams in the AFC. Kansas City will most likely have a first-round bye and also home-field advantage, plus each squad in the conference has had bright spots at one point or another team like Pittsburgh (+1500), Houston (+1500), or even the Chargers (+1500). That said, the Chiefs will still have to fend off a variety of squads in this tough conference which does not assure them making a run to the Super Bowl.

A dark horse team here could be Los Angeles who has been hot as of late following a terrible performance against Tampa Bay. The Chargers played the Chiefs tough this season and also played well against Pittsburgh and Baltimore but were undone by some untimely gaffes. However, the true teams in the AFC that are the ones to watch are really the top trio mentioned above thanks to their quarterbacks and overall depth per BetNow.

Eagles and Lions duking it out for the top spot in the NFC

Noted on the main site at BetNow, the Lions and Eagles are the clear-cut favorites here thanks to some substantially strong rosters and excellent bodies of work. Dan Campbell’s squad is currently at the top of the pack with a great one-two passing and running punch of Jared Goff and the running back tandem of Jahymr Gibbs and David Montgomery aka Sonic and Knuckles. However, the Lions have always had a tough uphill battle getting out of their own way when it comes to their franchise being historic underachievers. Nonetheless, Campbell’s squad has been truly excellent this year showing a grit and tenacity that has been unmatched by most squads.

Opposing the Lions will be Philadelphia who has been an amazing team at times this year, but has had their own issues at times given injuries and other typical seasonal ups and downs. Looking at the overall standings though, the Vikings (+450) could be the other dark horse contender in this championship race. In what has been a spectacular season for Kevin O’Connell’s crew, Minnesota has been one of the most dominant teams in the NFL this year thanks to a compelling comeback season from quarterback Sam Darnold. A squad with a tenacious and playmaking defense, the Vikings are a huge threat to make a run to the Super Bowl even from the fifth-seed spot.

Looking at the rest of the field, the clear trio of Philly, Minnesota, and Detroit are the upper crust of the conference. Like the AFC, the rest of the squads are a clear peg below that trio like the Rams (+1100) or the Commanders (+1600)
