Tennis Predictions To Win The 2022 Rolex Paris Masters Tournament

Set up as the 50th edition of the famous Rolex Paris Masters tennis tournament, the men’s singles competition in Paris will be a must-watch display of the world’s best. A Masters 1000 on the 2022 ATP Tour, the event is set to kick off on Halloween. The winner of the 2021 tournament, Novak Djokovic is slated to enter this tournament as the seventh overall seed. In addition to the “Joker,” the top four contenders for the tournament contain a bevy of tennis legends (Rafael Nadal) to up-and-coming stars (Carlos Alcaraz). The latter enters the tournament as the No. 1 overall seed and is currently ranked as the No. 1 overall player in the world.

The No. 2 Player: Rafael Nadal (Odds: +400)

Recognized as the second overall seed for the Paris Masters tournament, Nadal is certainly no stranger to the spotlight and one of the most recognizable players in all of tennis. The Spanish legend has certainly had a fantastic 2022 even by his standards with wins at both the Australian and French Opens. With an official grand slam event record of 22-1, the 36-year-old future tennis Hall of Famer has had another stellar campaign and is one to watch in Paris.

Third Ranked Contender: Casper Ruud (Odds: +600)

One of the best Norwegian tennis players of all time at just 23 years of age, Ruud is recognized as the No. 3 overall player in the world. Ruud has won nine ATP Tour singles titles, eight of which being on clay courts. Moreover, he is also the first Norwegian man to win an ATP singles title, and the first to reach major finals (which he did at the 2022 French and U.S. Opens). One of the top young stars in the sport, he will look to continue his ascent to the top starting on Halloween.

Final Contender: Daniil Medvedev (Odds: +750)

A former No. 1 overall player in the world (as recently as earlier this year), Medvedev won the U.S. Open in 2021 and also made the finals of the Australian Open in 2022. Achieving a breakthrough campaign in 2019, Medvedev reached six consecutive tournament finals in a row, including the U.S. Open. For this year, he currently holds a winning percentage of 73% and an overall record of 40-15 at the time of this writing. He is also the winner of the 2020 Paris Masters event.
