The 67th annual Grammy awards are set to take place in Los Angeles at the start of February, and Taylor Swift is looking to make history once again in the Album of the Year category.
After becoming the most successful artist in the category last year with her fourth win, she’s back for a fifth attempt but faces big competition from the likes of Billie Eilish, Beyonce, Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter.

Eilish heads into award week as the odds-on favorite to win her second Album of the Year award for her latest release, and she has got a fantastic opportunity to do just that.
Considering the swing in the odds since the lines were initially announced, it simply wouldn’t be shocking to see her win. Eilish is the golden girl of this generation of pop stars, but is still competing with the previous queens and it would be a surprise if she toppled them both when they’ve all had strong years.
At -110 there isn’t much value in backing Eilish to win once again when the field is so strong, so this is a bet to avoid in this instance.

The most winningest artist in the history of this category at the Grammys, and yet Swift is somewhat of an underdog this year.
The four-time Album of the Year winner finds herself behind in the running, and having claimed victory last year she has the opportunity to become the first woman ever and only third artist ever to win it in consecutive years after Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder.
Since the initial lines came out she has drifted big time, which suggests fans just aren’t as keen to see her win this time around as they have been in the past. She previously beat Beyonce to this award controversially, and some may feel the legendary former Destinys Child star deserves the award at least once in her illustrious career.
There is tremendous value in backing Swift to win any award at these odds simply because of her incredible popularity, so this could well be worth a cheeky flutter.

Beyonce is the artist with the most Grammy Award wins in history, and yet the Album of the Year award continues to elude her despite four previous nominations.
The legendary singer has taken a new route with her latest album, with a country-heavy project and it has earned rave reviews, while she also performed live during the Christmas Day NFL clash live on Netflix – earning her even more plaudits.
It means the album will be fresh in the minds of many and considering her previous failures with albums that were objectively even better than this one, voters may feel it’s finally her time to win the award.
One of the most popular artists in history, with one of the greatest and deepest bodies of work, that may all go in her favor when voters are picking who to go with. At +420 the value is incredible, and she is a very live underdog.
Similarly to Beyonce, Carpenter has been very much in the face of voters in recent months with live performances and that could certainly help her push for the award.
2024 was undoubtedly her year and she could well win the Record of the Year award at the ceremony, and if she has that much pull with voters then she can’t be ruled out in this category either.
A win would certainly be a surprise considering the level of artist she is competing against, but at odds of +2000 there is too much value to ignore. She is far more popular than the likes of Chappell Roan and even Charli XCX who sit ahead of her with the bookies, so if there is going to be a shock this year my money would be on it coming from Carpenter.
