Later this month, the New York International Auto Show is preparing to select the 2025 World Car of the Year, and SBS has the inside scoop on this event. More specifically, per a release from BetUS, the World Car of the Year winner will be announced live at the New York International Auto Show on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, and BetUS has betting odds on all of it. Additionally, WCA rumors have been swirling as to which cars will make the cut to be included as finalists for the best car in the world. The process is grinding, beginning with 96 motorsports journalists from 30 nations around the globe choosing from among the 52 contenders, to where we now know the 2025 World Car Award finalists, the report notes.

For this article, SBS will be going over the latest gaming news coming from BetUS and also some additional notes and information regarding the website and beyond.

Toyota has multiple entries in the World Car final list

Noted in the same report, the cars being considered are as follows: the Audi A5/S5, the Ford Mustang, the Hyundai Inster/Casper Electric, the Kia EV3, and the Mini Cooper Electric. Additionally, the list also includes the Suzuki Swift, Toyota Camry, Toyota Land Cruiser/Land Cruiser 250, and finally, the Volkswagen Tiguan/Tayron. Also, the report notes, in a “bit of curious WCA news,” there is no Italian brand represented this year

Mark Schienberg, president of the NYIAS, was quoted in the report saying, “This award represents a key recognition for manufacturers, given by a jury of the world’s best automotive journalists.” Additionally, car enthusiasts will no doubt be looking forward to the show, and BetUS has 2025 World Car Awards odds in several different categories to make the awards a bit more intriguing.

Those who have opinions regarding the WCA Awards will find accompanying odds in the following categories at BetUS, the report says. This includes World Car of the Year, World Car Design of the Year, Best Electric Car of the Year, Best Luxury Car of the Year, Best Urban Car of the Year, and Best Performance Car of the Year. Per the site, this is just another example of offerings in the BetUS novelty props market that have taken the gaming world by storm. Nowhere in the industry can curiosity seekers “find so many offbeat and quirky props than right at BetUS.” Recognized as a leader in the sports betting industry, BetUS has pioneered a landscape that runs the gamut from entertainment to politics and even the price of eggs, the article notes.

It is all right under one roof, and BetUS invites everyone, the report says, to peruse their eclectic novelty props betting menu because if a subject is trending, there is an excellent chance the innovative oddsmakers at BetUS will have it available for those who want to wager on “something a bit off the beaten path.”

BetUS provides various WCA FAQ’s on its website

Per the same report, the World Car Finals, sponsored by Brrembo, is the definitive car show in the world. The three finalists this year in this particular category are the BMW X3, Kia EV3, and Hyundai Inster/Casper Electric. Moreover, the most prestigious car award is the World Car Award at the New York International Auto Show on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. BetUS has odds on all of the finalists in the six WCA categories. As for the 2025 World Car Awards – World Car of the Year, the odds are as follows: BMW X3 (+110), Kia EV3 (+150), and the Hyundai Inster (+200).

Per another report, the guidelines for this show are clear and have had a longstanding tradition of honor bestowed on the winners. Cars considered must be sold in at least two of the major markets (North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America) on at least two separate continents prior to March 30th of the year of the award. Additionally, the contest was inaugurated in 2003 and officially launched in January 2004.

This started as a single award, similar to many of the continent and nation-specific Car of the Year awards already given. Moreover, since 2006, awards for performance, green cars, and car design have also been given. Also, in April 2013, an award for luxury design was inaugurated. Indeed, with so many exciting categories, it would appear that BetUs has once again found an exciting market for eligible customers and auto enthusiasts to check out as the award show comes up this week.
