A star-studded duo, the Colorado Buffaloes will be parting with their talented playmakers, Travis Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders, for the NFL this offseason. That said, BetUS has recently unveiled some interesting prop betting lines related to the pair both on and off the field. Per some recent reports at the site, under Deion Sanders, Colorado has become an impact team in college football. Much of the Buffaloes’ success can be attributed to the star duo. That said, next season they will be playing on Sundays and BetUS is offering exclusive odds on where and when the teammates will be chosen in the 2025 NFL Draft. Additionally, the website released information on some of Hunter’s personal “off-the-field drama” which shows that the site will span everything from where he will be chosen in the NFL Draft to outliers concerning his personal life.

For this article, SBS will be going over what to look for from the latest gaming news coming from BetUS along with some additional notes and insights coming from the outlet.

Sanders is being tabbed as the favorite the first pick

Noted on one report, in the BetUS odds, Sanders is considered even-money as the favorite to be the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft when it comes to NFL predictions. This is of course well-deserved as the quarterback threw for 3,926 yards with 35 touchdown passes against just eight interceptions in college football games in 2024. Additionally, he has the physical attributes, measuring 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, making him a great quarterback candidate, especially if the team that winds up with him as the first overall pick needs a signal-caller

As of this writing, the Tennessee Titans have the first overall pick for the 2025 NFL Draft. Of course, the Titans have some uncertainty at the signal-caller position with Will Levis garnering most of the stars, and scrutiny, last season. Could they trade out of the slot or would they like to start fresh with Sanders at the helm? Reports in the media have linked the Las Vegas Raiders as being a possible candidate who would like to trade up with the squad

For Hunter, the report notes that he of course is a remarkable player as the reigning Heisman Trophy winner. The wide receiver-defensive back was on the field for more than 100 plays per game for Colorado last season and is one of the country’s best defensive backs. Additionally, BetUS tabs Hunter as arguably the best wide receiver who will be in the 2025 NFL Draft. Currently, he is listed as the second choice by BetUS at +200 on their NFL betting odds. Last season, he had 92 catches for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns, and on defense, accrued four interceptions while quarterbacks avoided him.

Hunter’s case for first overall is a slightly uphill one

Noted in the same article from BetUS, when looking to make a bet on the first overall pick, consider this when thinking about Hunter. A wide receiver has not gone first overall since 1996 when the New York Jets chose Keyshawn Johnson out of USC. As for a defensive back being the first player taken, it has happened once. This was when Gary Glick of Colorado State was taken first overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1956 and he would go on to play six seasons in the league.

That said, BetUS’s betting menu runs the gamut not only when it comes to NCAA football prop wagers, but also to entertainment and novelty options as well. Of course, a crossover phenomenon like Hunter also attracts interest and intrigue, given the recent personal events surrounding his Heisman win. Per another report from the site, the Heisman Trophy ceremony caught Hunter’s girlfriend, Leanna Lenee, sitting while everyone stood and applauded when his name was announced as the winner of college football’s most prestigious individual award. This caused a social media brouhaha, and BetUS has already responded with betting offerings, including what will happen first: Travis Hunter playing in his first NFL game or a breakup with his fiancee

Additionally, there is also a novelty prop as to whether the amorous duo will part company before the NFL Draft on April 24th. It’s all at BetUS, everything from the Academy Awards to the Golden Globes and of course, novelty props like those on Hunter. As for the young superstar’s next step, it is not a question of whether Hunter is going to be in the NFL but what NFL team is going to select the superstar.
