Per the BetOnline site, the $10,000 PGA Championship Predictor is now live and offers golf enthusiasts an opportunity to get in on some great prizes while checking out the 2024 PGA Championship. Like many other BetOnline predictor contests, there are certain rules to get in and be eligible for the $10,000 prize pool for this promotion. The first-place prize in this promo will be $500 and of course, players with the most points will win cash prizes based on the prize chart listed at BetOnline and also below in this report. Contestants are able to register for this promotion all the way until the first day of the PGA Championship tournament in Valhalla on May 16th, 2024.

For this report, SBS will be going over the latest gaming news coming from BetOnline along with additional notes and information regarding gaming updates from the website.

PGA Championship Predictor rewards correct selections

For those who are regular contestants of BetOnline’s famous promotions, you will be familiar with the normal house rules of these promos. For starters, to register for the $10,000 PGA Championship Predictor, you must be logged into your account and make your selections for each of the questions listed and tie-breaker. Contestants are able to register for this contest until the registration deadline on Thursday, May 16th, 2024. Once selections are submitted, you may change your answers at any time until the registration deadline on Thursday, May 16th. Of course, at the end of the contest, the players with the most points will win cash prizes based on the following point spread at BetOnline and also below.

As noted above, the first-place winner in this promotion will receive a cool $500 for their big win. Second place in this promotion nets a nice $300, while third, fourth, and fifth place takes home $200, $150, and $100, respectively. After that, the prize amounts of course go down in value with sixth place netting you $80, while every place up to 500th will receive some sort of cash value. For instance, positions 51 through 100 gain $25 in cash value from the promotion, while 101 through 200th receive $20 as well in the PGA Championship Predictor

Normal BetOnline promotion rules apply for this contest

As noted on the main BetOnline rules page, if various participants tie, the tie-breaker question will be used to determine the final standings of the contest. Participants will be ranked based on having the closest answer to the tie-breaker question. Moreover, if there are ties after the tie-breaker is taken into account, winnings will be split along with the next lowest prize. Ex. If two contestants tie for fourth place, they will split the fourth and fifth place prizes. The participant with the next highest total will win the sixth-place prize. The contest will be graded following the conclusion of the 2024 PGA Championship.

Additionally, winners will receive their prize by the following week of the PGA Championship once the event has concluded. Winnings will be paid into each player’s account as cash with no rollover requirement. Only one entry per player is allowed. In the event that a player enters multiple times, only the first entry registered will be eligible for a prize. Finally, as always, BetOnline reserves the right to alter or amend the terms and conditions of this promotion at any time without notice.

Scheffler enters PGA Championship as the strong favorite

As many PGA fans are aware, one of the big favorites heading into this tournament is the phenomenal Scottie Scheffler. The Texan is noted by BetOnline as the favorite to win here at +320. Scheffler has already won multiple events this year and is noted as the best player in the world per the latest golf rankings and has been acknowledged as such for some time. Meanwhile, familiar favorites like Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy are in the mix to win the tournament as well at +1200. Rahm has had some recent success, winning the Masters in 2023. However, while one of the top players in the world, still has not won a major tournament since 2014 but this may be the year he breaks through.

Rounding out the top four is Ludvig Aberg at +1600 which is a surprising choice breaking into the top crust of the PGA rankings. At only 24 years of age, he already has four different professional wins and could steal the show at Valhalla if things break his way.
