Below you’ll find a list of the favorites to win the UEFA Euro 2024 soccer tournament.

England – (+300)

Manager Gareth Southgate will be looking to end England’s hoodoo when it comes to international success this summer, in what could be his final tournament in charge.

Under his tenure the Three Lions have gone to a World Cup semi-final in 2018, reached the final of Euro 2021 where they were beaten on penalties, and then crashed out of the World Cup at the quarter-final stage in 2022 in Qatar.

But he now has arguably his strongest pool of players to choose from, with the generation being labelled as one of the best England have ever produced.

Captain and all-time top scorer Harry Kane is coming off the best individual season of his career at Bayern Munich, while Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice having phenomenal campaigns also.

After a near-perfect qualification process to boot, England are the favorites for the tournament and rightly so. The quality and depth in their squad is sensational, and only a few teams should realistically be able to stop them winning their first tournament since 1966.

France – (+400)

Les Bleus have been one of the most dominant national teams in recent years, unlike Spain in the early 2010’s, they haven’t been able to add multiple trophies to their cabinet.

Didier Deschamps’ side reached the final of Euro 2016 where they were beaten by Portugal, before the won the 2018 World Cup with a stunning performance in Russia. They then struggled at Euro 2020, losing in the first-knockout round on penalties, but bounced back to make the World Cup final in Qatar in 2022 before losing to Lionel Messi’s Argentina.

However, a replenished squad over the last 18 months has seen them get back to a hugely strong point in their process and led by the world’s best player Kylian Mbappe they are without a doubt among the top contenders for success in Germany.

Alongside the likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele and William Saliba the team is very strong once again and have all the ingredients to be successful.

Wth Mbappe leading the way and in fantastic form too, there is tremendous value at +400 for them to claim the title and add to this generation’s trophy cabinet.

Germany – (+550)

The host nation have had a torrid time in recent tournaments as they crashed out at the group stages during the 2022 World Cup, lost to rivals England in the first knockout round at Euro 2020 and failed to progress past the group stages at the 2018 World Cup also.

But under new manager Julian Nagelsmann the team have rediscovered their attacking ways and players like Leroy Sane, Kai Havertz, Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala have all become key to the way they play.

With great pace and skill among their ranks plus the experience of Thomas Muller and also Toni Kroos, who will retire from professional soccer after the tournament, there is a fantastic blend of hungry stars and proven winners.

They will have a home advantage in the process at every game which has traditionally done them well in tournaments. They won the World Cup they hosted in 1974, and reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in 2006 and Euros in 1988.

The team has a great chance of success but considering their poor record in recent tournaments, there isn’t enough value at +550 to really back them.

Portugal – (+800)

Cristiano Ronaldo may be 39-years-old now, but he is still going strong and will lead his nation into yet another international tournament this summer.

New manager Roberto Martinez had a near-perfect qualifying campaign as the Seleccao won 10/10 fixtures and conceded just two goals in the process, and the squad looks incredibly strong.

Stars like Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, Rafael Leao and Joao Felix will support the legendary forward in attack, while Ruben Dias, Antonio Silva, Nuno Mendes and Joao Cancelo will make up the defense alongside the iconic Pepe.

They won the tournament back in 2016 in a tournament they probably didn’t deserve to win based off performances, but this squad is even better than that one. At +800 the value is impeccable so don’t be surprised to see them come away with a second title in three European championships.
