Globe Life Field is the setting for the 2024 MLB All-Star clash. The National League pulled off a shock win last year, and they are again the underdogs as they look to win back-to-back Midsummer Classics. The 2024 All-Star match will be the 94th edition of the event. Awarded to the Texas Rangers in 2022, it will be the first time the event has been staged at Globe Life Field, and the first time since 1934 that the reigning World Series Champions will have hosted.
In total, it is the second time the Rangers will host the match after staging the event in 1995 at The Ballpark in Arlington, their previous home.
For the 2024 edition, the head coach of the National League Team will be Torey Lovullo of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Bruce Bochy of the Texas Rangers is in charge of the American League Team.
It’s not hard to see why the American League is the favorite to win the 2024 All-Star match.
The National League’s 3-2 win in 2023 was the first time they had won the Classic since 2012. The victory snapped a nine-match winning streak for the American League.
In the 2024 edition, the American League is -115 to gain immediate revenge. 12 months ago, they were -108, making their odds even shorter this year.
The National League goes into the 2024 matchup at +105 on the money line. In 2023, they were -102.
On the handicap betting line, the National League All-Stars are receiving the +1.5 points start. With the spread in their favor, the National League is the -195 betting favorite. The American League is +170 to win and cover the spread.
Finally, the total points spread is set at 7.5. Over 7.5 points is -115, with Under 7.5 at -105.
