One of the most anticipated annual holiday sporting events of the year, Thanksgiving pro football is a tradition celebrated across America and some parts of the globe as well. With that in mind, BetNow is running back its annual $500,000 Thanksgiving Giveaway Contest which has an excellent grand prize of $175,000 per the website. According to the website, an active client of BetNow can enter this contest for “absolutely free.” All you have to do to win the contest is simply pick the winning team of your choice for the 16 NFL Football Games between November 28th to December 2nd, 2024. The Grand Prize will be awarded to the client that picks all the winning NFL teams along with the tiebreaker. In addition to the Thanksgiving promotion, there are also other promotions at the site around Thanksgiving and more.

In this article, SBS will be going over what to look for from the latest gaming news coming from SBS along with even more useful news and information coming from the website.

Thanksgiving Giveaway Contest has a $500k prize pool

Noted above, the $175,000 in this contest is recognized as the grand prize in this promotion. In addition to the other rules above, there will only be one entry per person for this contest. In the case of multiple entries, “ALL entries” from that client will be void and the judges’ decision is final. A minimum of 13 matchups must be played for the Grand Prize to be awarded in this matchup.

In addition to the $500,000 Thanksgiving Contest, BetNow is also offering its VIG Free November promotion. Per the site, this promotion is a “great way to save money and get more profit.” Additionally, every year during the last two weeks of November, from November 16th to November 30th, 2024, you will be able to bet special teasers on your favorite football team absolutely “VIG FREE.” As the site notes, eligible and qualified customers can take advantage of this great opportunity to bet and win. Additionally, you will get to keep 100% of the profits from winning wagers and never ost more than you originally wagered.

Detroit and Dallas highlight week 13 NFL matchups

In terms of NFL games, there might not be many more regular season matchups that are more iconic than the Cowboys and the Lions playing on Thanksgiving Day. As of this article’s writing, the Bears and Detroit will be squaring off and these two teams are on different trajectories. After a strong start to the year, Chicago is on a downward spiral with quarterback Caleb Williams struggling this season following some bright moments earlier in the year. Additionally, the Bears’ offensive line has been woeful at times and has made it difficult for Williams to thrive which will be on full display in this road matchup against the 8-1 Lions. Keep in mind, that these squads will stay and have to play another matchup in the week before week 13.

Another Thanksgiving mainstay, the Cowboys have had a once-promising season fall into disarray and now sit at 3-6 on the year. They are set to do battle against the Giants who are also in the middle of another disappointing campaign at 2-8. Of course, this matchup will be in Dallas which should bode well for the Cowboys if they can get some mojo going and shake off this negativity. Dallas still has plenty of talent in the likes of CeeDee Lamb, but quarterback Dak Prescott has been knocked out for the season leaving the Cowboys quarterback situation a quagmire.

Dolphins and Packers round out Thanksgiving Day

In the final Thanksgiving matchup of the day, Miami travels to Green Bay. While these odds are not yet available at BetNow, one could surmise that the home team will have a strong advantage here again. This is because the Packers have the inverse record of Miami at 6-3 to 3-6 and have been their usual sturdy selves this season. Of course, there could be a matchup brewing but it would appear that Green Bay will be the favorite out of the gate, especially in the colder November weather.

While the Thanksgiving Day matchups will receive a lot of attention, the BetNow contest will also include a variety of other showdowns that week in the NFL. This includes rumbles between the likes of San Francisco at Buffalo, Arizona traveling to Minnesota, and the Steelers taking on the frisky Bengals. All of these squads are vying for playoff contention and should make for some compelling battles.
