Below you’ll find a list of favorites to win the 2024 Copa America soccer tournament.
The current holders and the reigning world champions after their World Cup win in 2022 in Qatar, Argentina come into this tournament as the clear favorites for success.
Led by the greatest of all time Lionel Messi in attack and some of the world’s best like Emiliano Martinez, Lisandro Martinez, Enzo Fernandez also in the team, they will be pushing to retain their title.
Messi is coming into the tournament in fantastic form for Inter Miami, and will feel more than comfortable in his new home as he looks to lead the country to a 16th continental title.
The draw is also in their favor as they are in the opposite side of the closed bracket to the other four favorites for the title in Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia and USA.
With a winning formula already in place among the squad, fresh young talents like Alejandro Garnacho and Valentin Carboni and a coach who knows exactly how to get the best out of his top players it’s hard to look past Argentina getting victory once again.
The fans are happy to accept victory however it comes along and manager Lionel Scaloni can cement himself as one of the greats of his generation with another tournament win, so they’re the team to back at +180.

The most successful national team in soccer, Brazil come into this clash without their superstar captain Neymar due to an ACL injury that he so far failed to recover from.
But while the all-time top scorer won’t be there, the team will have the attacking talents of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo to call upon as well as their new Real Madrid teammate and young phenom Endrick in attack.
Defensively the team is in a strong place with Alisson Becker in goal and players like Eder Militao and Marquinhos in front of him, while Bruno Guimaraes, Douglas Luiz and Lucas Paqueta are likely to make up the midfield to add steel, energy and creativity.
The nation were hoping to have Carlo Ancelotti as manager for this tournament but he turned them down to sign a new contract with Real Madrid, and new manager Dorival Junior has failed to capture the imaginations of the fans so far.
They’re the best team after Argentina and they have the quality to get to the final once again at least, where they’ll be hoping for revenge over their fierce rivals in a rematch of the 2021 Copa America.
At +250 there is good value in them claiming victory, but they have a tough draw to contend with and are under pressure to win with style rather than just grind out results which could come back to bite them in bigger games later in the tournament.

Outside of the big two nations in the tournament, Uruguay are the team to watch and come into the competition with some in-form players in key positions.
Liverpool star Darwin Nunez has scored huge goals in recent months, while the team have also recalled legendary striker Luis Suarez to add to their firepower in attack.
In a group alongside the USA, Panama and Bolivia, Marcelo Bielsa’s side will be heavy favorites to win the group and progress through the brackets as a seeded team. In defense the club have the likes of Jose Maria Gimenez and Ronald Araujo which will make them incredibly difficult to beat too.
Their midfield has some super talent too with Fede Valverde coming off the back of a top campaign with Real Madrid, Tottenham star Rodrigo Bentancur and Paris Saint-Germain star Manuel Ugarte all ready to go to battle.
At +575 there is great value in a team with top players across the pitch and also with a top manager who is capable of beating the favorites in a one-off game, so if you want a value bet then Uruguay are your team to go with.
