ncaaf betting week 13

Entering the final week of the college football regular season for many schools, four teams in the MAC are dueling for a myriad of outcomes. In Kalamazoo, Western Michigan squares off with Bowling Green as the Broncos look to end the year on a high note, while the Falcons are angling for momentum heading into bowl season. Meanwhile, Eastern Michigan has seen their bowl hopes dwindle thanks to a recent 1-3 record in their last four contests. They are looking to right the ship against 3-8 Buffalo and secure their bowl game future with a win over the frisky Bulls.

In this report, SBS will be going over what to look for from each of these teams along with a predicted winner and more notes about college football betting.

NCAA Football Game One Overview

Team Spotlight: Bowling Green Falcons

Riding a four-game winning streak, the Falcons faced off the leaders of the MAC, Toledo, last weekend at home. In a hard-fought contest, the Rockets, now 10-1, were able to eke out a win against the pesky Falcons, 32-31. While the outcome was not what BGSU wanted, it showed the team they could hang with the class of the conference. Running back Terion Stewart is a fantastic player for Bowling Green and will be relied on heavily in this contest. He is looking to improve on his 758 rushing yards and eight rushing scores this season. Quarterback Connor Bazelak needs to cut down on the turnovers (seven interceptions), but has been a decent passer with nine touchdowns and nearly 1,500 yards.

Team Spotlight: Western Michigan Broncos

Coming off a disheartening loss at Northern Illinois, 24-0, the Broncos are aiming for a much better performance this time around at home. WMU has a solid playmaker in the backfield in running back Jalen Buckley who has nearly 1,000 yards on the year (918 and counting) along with nine rushing scores. Wide receiver Kenneth Womack has been a reliable target for quarterback Hayden Wolff, with 647 receiving yards, but only one score on the year. The last time WMU played at home was a solid 38-28 win against in-state rival Central Michigan.

Prediction: This should be a closer contest than most might expect, but look for BGSU to pull one out on the road

NCAA Football Game Two Overview

Team Spotlight: Eastern Michigan Eagles

A squad with its bowl hopes in the balance, Eastern Michigan has had a tough go as of late. While they were able to hold off Akron last week in double overtime at home, the Zips are also near the bottom of the conference with a 2-9 overall record. While their results have been diminishing as of late, the Eagles still have some punch left as the squad aims for bowl eligibility. Quarterback Austin Smith, like another signal-caller in this article, has to cut down on the turnovers if he wants to lead his team to victory in frigid Buffalo. Moreover, the Eastern defense needs to step up here as they have allowed 27-plus points in the last three games

Team Spotlight: Buffalo Bulls

Opposing the Eagles will be the Bulls who have lost three straight games, thus sinking their postseason hopes a long time ago. However, Buffalo still has an opportunity to save face in the squad’s season finale on senior night in front of the home faithful. Bulls quarterback Cole Snyder has almost 2,000 yards on the year (1,974) and could be in for a big night. However, the one to watch out for here is running back Ron Cook Jr. who could be in for a heavy workload if the weather drags down both team’s passing offenses.

Prediction: In another close contest, Eastern has not looked impressive as of late, so Buffalo could be set up well to steal a win here
