Tuesday night’s match will be the 93rd All-Star Game between the American and National Leagues. In 2022, the American League won 3-2, its ninth straight win in All-Star matches.

Again, like with the All-Star match, there is so much quality on show in this event. Anyone of these players can win, and the betting market is very open.
No one will be surprised if Pete Alonso slugs his way to victory. He’s the favorite for good reasons. But we’re looking at the betting odds and feel that in such an open market, wagering on Alonso at +275 might be a bit too risky.
Instead, we’re going with the home favorite, Julio Rodriguez.
J-Rod is in a good place. He’s signed up to the Seattle franchise on a big money deal, and he’s now well settled and established in both the city and the franchise. We think at odds of +400, Julio Rodriguez is a good value pick to win the 2023 Home Run Derby.
