Following a dramatic first week of the 2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, the stage is set for another great round of college hoops action. With that in mind, MyBookie has fans covered with their $50K March Madness Contest aka the MyBookie Bracket16 Contest which opens Monday, March 20th. For this particular event, the contest will constitute the Sweet 16 Round of the 2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and close on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023 at 11:00 AM ET. Moreover, the first-place grand prize in this event is $8,000 with a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000 overall for contestants. Only fully completed brackets will qualify for contest prizes and normal MyBookie house rules and regulations apply here as well.

Entries into the $50,000 NCAAB promotion are $10 a piece 

As mentioned above, this contest begins with the Sweet 16 Round of the 2023 Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament on Thursday, March 23rd per the MyBookie website contest rules. The $10 entries can be purchased in advance, with a purchase maximum of 50 entries using real cash funds. If you submit an incomplete bracket, your entry will not be considered valid and thus will be voided out for the competition. Entries may be entered in advance and once you submit your selection for the bracket, you will not be able to change your picks. For this competition, winners will be notified by email and be posted on the leaderboard depending on how their bracket fares during the Sweet 16 round. 

Per the MyBookie contest rules page, all purchases are final and there are no refunds for this competition. Entries for this competition, like other MyBookie contests, must be purchased with real cash funds from MyBookie accounts and entry fees will be deducted directly from players’ account balances. Moreover, if you qualify for a free entry, they are included in the total number of entries you have and thus count towards the grand total of 50 max entries. 

The guaranteed prize pool features $8,000 as first place prize

For this competition, the winner will receive a first-place prize of $8,000 with second place locking down a cool $5,000 and finally third place taking home $2,500. That said, contestants in this competition all the way until 500th place ($50) will receive some sort of prize depending on how they fare in the March Madness bracket contest. Regarding actual scoring for the competition, participants must pick the winners of all 15 games in the 2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, beginning with the Sweet 16 Round. Per usual, points will be awarded for each correct pick and once a bracket is submitted, picks cannot be changed. 

Regarding the actual point system for the competition, four points will be awarded for every correct selection in the Sweet 16 round. After that, the points double in the Elite 8 with eight points being awarded for each right choice. Then in the Final Four, correct picks are 16 points, with a massive 32 points being up for grabs for picking the winner of the NCAA Championship Game.
