Defending champions Alabama are favorites with top sportsbooks to win the 2021/22 championship outright.
They are +250 to win the title two season’s running.
Following behind in the betting lines is Clemson at +400, Georgia at +500, Ohio State at +600, and Oklahoma at +800.
All other sides are massive outsiders with betting lines starting at +2500, and going all the way to +3000000.
Regardless of whether Alabama can defend the crown, they won in 2020, the defending champions make up my first pick.
No, I’m not picking them to win the championship outright again, although I wouldn’t bet against it. This time I’m looking at the regular-season wins market.
The split with BetUS is set at 11.5 on the money line. With odds of +100 for over 11.5 wins (12 or more), and NCAAF betting odds of -130 on under 11.5 wins.
With a market so close, I’m going to go with the value bet and take Alabama to win more than 11.5 matches for my pick.
They are by far one of the strongest teams in the competition, and although this is a tough ask, I believe they can pull this off.
For my next pick, I’m looking at the to Win the Division market.
I’ve been looking around for some good value, and it is hard to find. Some teams are clear favorites for their divisions, like in the case of Clemson who are just -2500.
And while I don’t think for a minute that Clemson won’t win the ACC Atlantic Divison, I can’t be having that as one of my picks.
Offering far better value is Oregon in the Pac-12 North.
They start their season against Fresno State on 4th September, and at odds of -120, Orgeon looks decent value to me to win the Pac-12 North.
For my final futures pick on the NCAA, I’m looking to the win outright market.
While I’m not a huge fan of long-term markets, I do see some value here.
There is a lot of matches to be played, and a lot of things can change or go wrong for a side over the next few weeks. So I strongly recommend using one of the betting bonuses available for betting on this market.
Using a betting bonus also avoids having your money tied up in a sportsbook account for weeks and months on end.
For my pick, I’m going to back Oklahoma to win the championship outright at odds of +800.
This market looks like a five-horse race and at +800, I feel Oklahoma offers very decent value.
As I’ve alluded to, using a betting bonus here makes sense.
In the outright winner market, as I’ve mentioned there are only really five teams who look to be in the running.
These teams won’t win every fixture, and as a result, their prices on the Moneyline will fluctuate.
Picking winners is all about making money, so bet smart. When a team has a poor run of results, they will drift in the betting. So use this opportunity to claim another one of our betting bonuses. And with this bonus, bet on the team whose odds have drifted out.
At some stage in such a competitive season, all sides will have a blip. And this is the time to cash in!
Hopefully, we will end up with all bases covered. At the very least, we will have a lot of teams covered, and have a far better chance of claiming some sort of win!
